They make horrible screeching noises in the middle of the night, but like to make up for it by leaving us their beautiful feathers. I don't know if I'll forgive them that easily.

I LOVE peacock feathers! This summer we stayed with some friends in San Diego and their neighbors had peacocks...it was so funny, they would climb way up into trees and on roofs. They're pretty loud, but so beautiful!
Yeah- we have a carport right next to our bedroom window and they have climbed up there in the middle of the night before and started running around on it and then on our roof. SO LOUD. But I always like to see them during the day.
