I miss our beautiful Petaluma house- sort of. I don't miss the wood floors- I know wood floors are supposed to be fabulous, but I think carpet makes a home more cozy. I don't miss the sounds of Petaluma Blvd. at 2 in the morning- the drunkards, the teens making trouble, and all the other crazies. I don't miss the dust bunnies hiding under every piece of furniture - although now we have spider webs in every corner. I do miss the antique charm. I miss the china cabinet built in the wall. I miss the wood shelving lining the front rooms. I miss the fireplace we never used. And I even miss the checkerboard kitchen floor. Now that we are out of our Petaluma home, I feel like I can post pics without any stalkers coming to find us. Seriously. Our address was posted on the church website and fliers everywhere, so it's not like I wanted to put the floorplan of the house on our blog.
