Well, we went to David's orthopedic appointment yesterday and here is the prognosis--- David's ankle is sprained in a few places, including a sprain on both sides of his ankle, I think, and a high ankle sprain. His ankle/foot was ballooned up at the appointment, even after 1 1/2 days of elevating and icing. So David gets to be a couch potato for a week, meaning, elevating his foot 24/7 unless he needs to use the little boys' room or change locations. Then David has an appointment on Monday where they are going to put him in a cast for 4 weeks- after that will be the walking cast- and then rehab. So apparently this is quite the sprain. Pretty exciting stuff. We know the Lord knows what He is doing. It'd be nice if He'd let us in on it though. I'm just glad David didn't lose any fingers in a table saw accident like the other guy at the orthopedic appointment yesterday... oooouch! There's always a silver lining!
