Gimp Update

We went to the orthopedist yesterday and David was supposed to get his cast. The nurse took his splint off and David asked if he could wash his foot before the casting. The nurse pointed out the sink and left us in the room to bathe. David got to sit on the counter while I washed. His stale soccer foot was definitely in need of soap and water. We got David back to the bed and the doctor came in to take a look. The outcome- his ankle is still too swollen to cast. The doctor said it just shows the extent of the injury that it is still swollen over a week later with David keeping it elevated all week. So David got a new splint and we were sent on our way. And now David is at home, with his foot up, entering another forced couch potato week. The silver lining- a clean foot.

I fully expect that Dave will have some big biceps from all the weightlifting that is doing since he can't be out running his marathons right now....
See you at Easter!
